As any of my friends are likely to attest, one of the great passions in my life involves cooking. For years, I have thrown many dinner parties and theme dinners, inviting my friends to try dishes that I’ve discovered in cookbooks, adapted from other sources, or just outright created.
Since I began publishing this web magazine, my friends have asked me to consider writing a food column for my magazine. With their encouragement and support I have created this new section to my website.
In Robs Kitchen, I will take you through many aspects of food preparation. You will learn about the cookbooks On The Shelf in my kitchen. I will show you the appliances, utensils, cookware and food items In The Cabinets of my kitchen. You will learn some basic cooking and chopping skills; I will profile for you some of my favorite television cooking shows; and most importantly there will be recipes for food … lots of them.
In Rob’s Kitchen is a continual work-in-progress. If you like what you see, let me know; if you have ideas for ways to improve this section I want you to let me know, as I take constructive input quite well.
